Karis Holveck

Introducing my older sister, a devoted and passionate individual who cherishes her faith, family, friends, and massage therapy. She has been happily married since August 30, 1997, and currently resides in Montrose, Colorado, where she was born and raised.

After graduating from CWCS in 1995, she pursued a career in education and has been working as a substitute teacher at Montrose County School District since May 2014. In addition to her teaching role, she has also served as the Children's Director at Crossroads Victory from May 2016 to July 2017.

Before dedicating herself to education and ministry, my sister held various positions in different fields. She worked as a server at Starvin Arvins from 2004 to 2005 and was employed at First Student from October 2010 to 2014, both in Montrose, Colorado.

On June 28, 2018, she embarked on a new journey by establishing Mobile Massage, combining her love for helping others with her skills as a massage therapist. With specialized training in various massage techniques, she aims to provide quick and effective relaxation and balance for her clients. Her goal is to release muscle tension and address problem areas with her healing touch.

As a wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend, my older sister loves God with all her heart. She is devoted to numerous ministries and continually seeks to make a positive impact on the lives of those around her. With a strong foundation in faith, she prays, works, and plays with unwavering dedication and enthusiasm.

Naomi Dyer

Introducing my younger sister, Naomi, an inspiring self-employed artist, and a loving mother to her two children, Tatum and Brynn. She resides in Montrose, Colorado, where she has built a successful career in the arts.

Naomi studied Studio Art at Colorado Mesa University (CMU) Online from 2006 to 2015, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. During her time at CMU, she also studied Graphic Design, showcasing her diverse artistic talents.

Before fully committing to her passion for art, Naomi was a dedicated teacher. She taught computer subjects at Northside Elementary School from August 2013 to May 2014 in Montrose, Colorado. Prior to that, she worked as a substitute teacher at Montrose County School District.

In 2012, Naomi launched her very own website, showcasing her incredible artwork. Over the years, she has been involved in various creative projects, including a children's book for ages 4-9 called "Dreams" which she co-authored with Jordan Farelli. The book tells the story of a young tiger who dreams up a candy world full of fantastic friends.

Naomi has always been a source of inspiration and support for those around her. A quote by Neil Gaiman resonates deeply with her: "I hope you will have a wonderful year, that you'll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you'll make something that didn't exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return. And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind."

Throughout her journey, Naomi has experienced significant life events, including the birth of her children Tatum in 2005 and Brynn in 2017. She left her job at Northside Elementary School in 2014 to focus on her artistic career and has been self-employed since 2007.

As a mother, artist, and friend, Naomi continues to inspire those around her with her creativity, kindness, and wisdom.
